I’m not going to watch this whole thing, but the first 20 seconds are enough to get the gist of it. I’ve had the examination in both forms. The Chevy Chase moon river way is tough because you’re anticipating it and just know it’s going to be misreable. You then tense up so bad that the doctor has to ask you to “help him out” by spreading your ass cheeks. Wait, that doesn’t happen to everyone? With the please roll over on your side technique, the doctor can fool the patient into thinking he’s checking something else, so that you roll over thinking you’re not going to get a hand up your ass and then WHAMMO, he’s in there. This way might end up ultimately being more painful, as it felt like he tunneled his way around in there for about 5 minutes until he checked my tonsils and then came back down, which took what felt like another 5 minutes. I was in shock and truly felt as though I had been violated. Dear Lord don’t ever let me go to prison.

I don’t have a shovel with a thirty foot long handle, and i wasn’t going to get any closer than that.

it’s just a black rat snake (though it does look a bit like a black cottonmouth) but i don’t want anything to do with it. there are a few others around the house, but this is the largest of them.

I’m writing this from my new Arch linux install on my HP laptop
Whatever does the job for you man.

The wife and i where in the apple store today, checking out some gestures supported by the new mbp pads – pretty nice.

Spaces- i use space 2 for vmware fusion, and having that full screen and using cmd ( apple key ) arror to get around is better than linux. As a matter of fact, i don’t go full screen with linux as the host operating system with vmware server because it fucks up the key mapping in linux ( you just loose all your mod keys is all wtf ).

Glad you came around! Regardless of whether it’s possible in the game, “you’re pushing me warrior” is a phrase I now occasionally use with the Mrs. when she’s getting on my nerves or asking me to do something I don’t want to do, like take out the trash.

ok. i concede. i did have a faint memory of it being in brunswick. that memory had it exactly where you described it, so i have to trust that this was, in fact, a brunswick event.

i remember going there with eric l. a few times. it must have been a heck of a trek to get back to the other side of town from there when we were kids.

anyway, no, i don’t remember G$ being banned from there. with all the cruds, we all should have been banned.

i’ve checked. the warrior can not push another player.

Some guys I knew in college who were 2 years behind me used to play Knight Rider drinking games. I recall playing once. I loved the show as a kid. When the Dukes of Hazard was popular I searched far and wide to find a General Lee matchbox. I finally found one at a drug store, but it was a bit disappointingbecause it wasn’t made by matchbox or hot wheels. Never found a KITT replica, though.

Very cool. I recall going to Faneuil Hall for Bill Clinton’s one stop in Boston during the 1992 campaign to see him talk. Place was mobbed, and you felt as though you were witnessing an historical event. Too bad he wasted his last 4 years in office and was more of a Republican, but that’s another story.
This will be my 6th election in which I’ve voted. So far I’ve voted for the winner only twice. Really better even my record this time.
I too recall becoming interested in politics because of Mr. B’s class. I remember he kept saying Bush would win, despite what the polls said early on, and he was right. I recall watching the retruns on tv on election night in 1980. My parents were disgusted with Carter but hated Reagan. I want to say my mom voted for 3rd party candidate John Anderson and my Dad probably for some fringe candidate as a protest vote.
I hate that reagan has become an iconic figure and that the Republicans never waste a chance to bring him up. The guy really started, or at least really accelerated the problem of the widening gap between the rich and poor. F’n fraud piece of shit.

It’s official. Over a couple of beers last night Glen and I both described the same spot where the game was loctated in the Brunswick bowling alley. It was on the wall , directly across from where that primitive karate game and the hockey game with the arial view were. Coming from the bowling alley into the gaming area, it would be the first wall on your right. Roller kingdom did not have this game. RK had that rolling marble game, and paperboy, and pole position.
It must have been me, G, and you, along with the guy who was being pushed by the warrior.
Anyone remember the G$ story related to Brunswick? Was he seen there by a Mrs. G co-worker, and then banned, or was he banned, and then broke the ban and was ratted out by a Mrs. G co-worker?
