i really do. i fear dying more than death and wish neither upon anyone, but i had to chuckle when i saw that marcel marceau had passed.
the guy was a mime, which makes him my nemesis. along with clowns and midgets.
but as mimes go, he went pretty well. he did the Mel Brooks movies, showing a self deprecating side. He worked in the French Resistance during the second War to End All Wars. And if you’ve ever seen his “Youth, Maturity, Old Age, Death” piece, it’s kinda moving.
Anyway, he’s dead. And one never sees mimes anymore– why is that? If we mime, do the terrorists win??
