I’m chilling in a thundery Austin Hilton ballroom waiting for Will Wright, father of all real things virtual (he’s Mr The Sims). Its thundering and pouring outside, so I’m glad to be in hee.
Someone has just left the board game Domination on the podium for Will, presumably as tribute to the God of virt. It seems that unlike the rest of the conference which uses Macs (i want to be an individual just like everyone else!) Will is setup with a travel-rugged Dell XPS portable workstation laptop. The big 17″ one. I have a 18 month old one of those puppies and love it despite its back-breaking weight.
Cool. I wonder if its his. Short of an Alienware machine there is nothing faster and stable on the market. I think I need an upgrade.
Oh- more thunder. Excellent. How very dramatic.
