The Sarah Silverman Program 1

Sarah Silverman’s show is pretty funny. The first few episodes have been well written and surprisingly unusual– I really enjoy the musical interludes, although they might get a bit tired. The little girl auditioning for a Little Miss Rainbow pageant by performing a scene from Wall Street as Gordon Gecko was totally funny.

She’s sexy in a funny girl kinda way– you know the way funny, smart girls can be sexy? (Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and the oh so sexy-when-she-looks-young Kristen Wiig who is really 33 years old!)

She’s shown up in a few little things in the past- and was a real star in The Aristocrats.

Give it a few seasons and I think she can do well. She’s smart enough. Let’s hope she can keep the ideas fresh and won’t suffer a Dave Chapelle style exhaustion of inspiration. Tivo it if you can. It’s better than wasting your time on the other crap on TV at the moment.

“I’m gonna make you proud of me.”

“Oh sweetie, i’m already proud of you. All you can do is make me un-proud of you.”

I’m not feeling your Sarah Silverman vibe, but I’ll fight you for Tina Fey.
